HAS 2000-2001 HAS Alumni Page

News: HAS will be hosting a 10-Year Kick-off Event at JSC August 23.  Please check back for more details.

A big thank you to all the HAS Alumni scholars who have worked as HAS ambassadors promoting the program in their communities and schools this year.

As a HAS Alumni you can:

  • Complete on-line surveys and update personal information every year.  In October, you will receive an email directing you to fill out a survey. The Follow-Up Commitment Form obligates you to complete an on-line survey every year for four years. These surveys help NASA demonstrate the effectiveness of HAS in encouraging students to consider careers in science, math and technology (through the HAS distance education and mentoring program). Without your information, our funding is not secure!
  • Help recruit new scholars by giving presentations to the junior science classes at your school (e-mail us for brochures and a presentation)
  • Mentor new scholars from your school.  Please contact Aerospace Scholars if you are interested in mentoring current scholars in the program.

In order for us to keep you up-to-date with current HAS events, please keep us informed if your contact information changes. If you need to update your information, please contact Aerospace Scholars.
