DATA: Born April 7, 1950, in Perryton, Texas. Divorced, two children.
He enjoys flying, playing golf and officiating high school football and
basketball games.
EDUCATION:
Graduated from Perryton High School, Perryton, Texas in 1968. Received
a bachelor of business degree from West Texas State University, Canyon,
Texas in 1978. Completed Mathematics Education Certification at West Texas
A&M University in 1996.
ORGANIZATIONS:
Member of Texas Federation of Techers, High Plains Aviation Association,
and Board of Directors, Texas Aviation Historical Society, Amarillo, Texas.
Director, Tradewind 25th Anniversary Air Show.
SPECIAL
HONORS: Amarillo Air Show "Worker of the Year"
Award, Military decorations include; National Recruiter of the Year, Navy
Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Naitonal Defense Medal with
two awards. Four Navy Recruiting Awards Ribbons.
EXPERIENCE: Served
24 years active duty in the U.S.Navy. Completed 16 years service in Navy
Recruiting. Retired from active duty U.S.Navy in September, 1995. Served
on following committees and boards: Amarillo Air Show, Oklahoma City Air
Show, and Texas Aviation Historical Museum. Amarillo Chamber of
Commerce Aviation Committee
Currently assignment: Mathematics teacher, Administrative Assistant
at Tascosa High School, Amarillo, Texas.
