I’m Louie Alvidrez from El Paso, Texas.  I am a faculty member at my alma mater, W.H. Burges H.S., where I currently teach AP Computer Science and Chemistry I; I am also certified in English and history—I believe it is absolutely essential to be well-rounded if one chooses to be successful.  I am active in our science community; I am working on several projects integrating technology into our curriculum. 

My hobbies include: basketball, basketball, and more basketball !!! J  If the weather is so bad (like during a typical west Texas dust storm) where I cannot be outside, I enjoy reading and listening to music—everything but new rap/hip hop.  When I am not out playing basketball with my friends, I enjoy traveling and shopping.
