| Hello. I'm Rodolfo (Rudolph
in Spanish) and I work in the Aeroscience and Flight Mechanics Division
at NASA-JSC. My branch creates Flight Control Systems which allow space
vehicles to fly like they are intended to. I've been lucky to work on
various projects, and currently I support the Crew Return Vehicle (CRV)
which will serve as the Future Space Station lifeboat. I also work on
a miniature camera (called AERCam) that will be able to provide Space
Station astronauts an extra set of eyes to inspect the exterior of the
Station.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from
the University of Texas at Austin. I also hold a Masters of Science in
Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I specialized
in Space Flight Applications and Control Systems. As a college student,
I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to intern at NASA, were
I experience various areas here at JSC, ranging from astronaut training,
to mission operations, to what I do now.
