Howdy!  

My name is Sarah Shauger and I am a co-op student majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  I have lived most of my life in Northwest Houston, but have also spent time in Illinois and Massachusetts.  I started studying engineering because I really enjoyed both math and science in high school.  My father is an engineer, my mother is a teacher and I love both of those worlds.  Thus, working with educational outreach programs allows me to balance both of these aspects in my life. 

For the past three years, I ran Cross-Country and Track at Texas A&M.  I was also very involved with an organization aimed at promoting international awareness.  I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures.  Last summer I spent studying Ukrainian language and history at Harvard University.  I also like to read, watch movies, and play all kinds of sports.
