          Ted Warzynski

My name is Ted Warzynski.  For the past three years, I have been a math teacher at Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas.  I primarily teach Pre-AP Algebra 2.  In addition to teaching, I am one of the two coaches for Lubbock High School's UIL Math and Science Team.  Prior to teaching in Texas, I taught high school math for four years in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.  Just over three years ago, Cara, my beautiful wife, was accepted to the Texas Tech Graduate School of Psychology, so we loaded up the Hertz rent-a-truck and started a new life in Lubbock.  Since moving to Lubbock, we have become the proud parents of our first child, Mia Christine.  Everyday is a new adventure.

In 1994, I graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana with a Bachelor's Degree and in 1997 I received my MEd. from National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois.  I love to watch and play golf.  My all-time favorite golfer is Tom Watson, but of course I also like Tiger Woods.  I enjoy watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears whenever I can.  My favorite quote is "Don't give up, don't ever give up" by Jim Valvano.

I am looking forward to spending a few days in Houston....I hope you are too.  See you soon.
