What does
it take to be an astronaut? What kinds of activities
are done on board the Space Shuttle? If you
were an astronaut, what kinds of experiments would
you be working on?
This lesson
will cover some of the on-orbit operations that are
done on the Space Shuttle as it travels in low-Earth
orbit. Some of the questions you will answer in this
lesson include:
You will
use a variety of 3-D and virtual models, interactive
games and tutorials, videos, audios, and images to
explore the systems and components of the Space Shuttle.
For your assignment you will complete a detailed summary
one of the Space Shuttle science experiments that
interests you!
