This assignment will be graded using the rubric in the mission of the lesson. The following components are required for this lesson:

  • Composing an essay on a robotic mission to the planet Mars, either an orbital or surface mission
  • Designing a graphic of the spacecraft
  • Solving the math problem by calculating the orbital speed of earth and Mars in mph
  • Completing the quiz

Students are selected for the summer program based completion of lessons, score of quizzes, quality of work and timeliness.
