This assignment will be graded using the rubric in the mission of the lesson. The following components are required for this lesson:

Composing an essay on a robotic mission to the planet Mars, either an orbital or surface mission
Designing a graphic of the spacecraft
Solving the math problem by calculating the orbital speed of earth and Mars in mph
Completing the quiz

Students are selected for the summer program based completion of lessons, score of quizzes, quality of work and timeliness.
