Upon
completing this unit of instruction, students
will be able to:
- Explain the objectives of NASA's mission
and vision
- Summarize the roles and responsibilities
of the members of the ground control team
- List the types of careers available
in the shuttle program
- Calculate the change in velocity that
the shuttle will need to make to re-enter the
Earth's atmosphere and land successfully at
the designated land strip
