Thank you for your interest in Middle School Aerospace Scholars (MAS). For 2010-11 year, we will offer an education experience for MAS alumni. Details will be sent to the alumni in early 2010 and posted to the website.

Teachers inspect spacewalking gear

About the Program

Texas middle school teachers spend one week during the summer in a professional development workshop at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston.

They learn how to use NASA's educational resources in the classroom and develop an action plan to implement during the following school year.

Teachers visit historic Mission Control

Who Should Attend?

The program includes opportunities for school teams to attend the workshop at Johnson Space Center. All teams must be from the same school and grade level.

Teachers must be Texas residents who are teaching full-time at an accredited Texas middle school. Other restrictions apply.
